Sharin’ the Loovvvee

I started a blog not only because I wanted to document what the hubs and I were doing around the house and give us a place to look back to and share with family and friends, but I was also really inspired but a lot of other home and DIY bloggers out there.  Today, I thought I’d share the love and show you some of my favorites!

Bower Power.  Need I say more?  I’ve got a seriously blog-crush on Katie Bower over at this joint (in a totally non-creepy way, Katie, I promise).  She is just so. dang. funny.  She has such a beautiful family (seriously the 2 cutest boys I’ve ever laid eyes on, never mind her husband!) greatest outlook on life and a great sense of style to boot – check her out and she’ll make you smile every time.

Young House Love.  No self-respecting home design blogger would attempt to discuss their favorites without mentioning the Petersiks!  John and Sherry are amazing and literally make their living blogging about their home improvements and adventures right from home. Talk about my dream job! They’ve written a book together as well and really are just as blog-famous as you can get!  Way to go Petersiks!

7th House on the Left.  Ashley and Greg are so cute and they also blog together.  Their blog layout and style is as unique as they are and they designed it themselves which I’m so impressed with!  They capture everything from home design, to green cleaning, to makeovers – you name it.  I’ve even ordered art from their Etsy shop (which I’ll tell you about another day), but I really dig their sense of style.

Mini Manor Blog.  Another Ashli, but this time she lives in BC and has some really great tips for organizing, green cleaning, sewing (I used her tutorial for envelope pillow covers!), books, gardening, and this girl makes some serious cupcakes!  🙂  They have a clean and cozy sense of style that I really like.

Centsational Girl. Kate posts all sorts of things from things that inspire her to projects she tackles around the house.  She’s got a great eye for design and I pop in frequently to see what she’s up to!

So, there’s 5 of the blogs I follow.  Honestly, I follow quite a few more (you guys are so talented!) and am hoping to get a “blog roll” set up on the right side of the page to share them all with you. This chick’s still learning about code (HTML, CSS, PHP, etc) so hopefully I can figure it out at some point!  For now, the blog-a-sphere is my oyster and these are just 5 of the pearls I’ve found out there!

Go check them out and share in some lovin’ as well!
